What makes you a Creative CEO?
I am a Creative CEO because when I look into the world, I don’t see what others see- I see possibility. When an idea comes into my mind, I don’t pay so much attention to my limits, others opinions, etc. instead I ask myself- How is this going to help others? Is this in line with God’s will for my life? Then with God as my strength I go out and resolve to do it. What major business lesson did you learn in 2020? Listening is the most powerful action. While it can feel passive, it’s impacts are unparalleled.

Please allow me to introduce myself my name is Latashia Holmes:
And I am a Bestselling Author and Motivational speaker. I wrote two books titled Made U Look and Provoked. I wrote my first book Made U Look while I was incarcerated in women’s state prison. Yes you read that correctly. I said women’s state prison. Unfortunately I’m not perfect and I made a few mistakes in life but that’s not how my story ends. While incarcerated I was journaling about my case and my journaling turned into a book. I always wanted to become an author. It was actually a goal of mines. But I had absolutely no idea how I would accomplish that. But thank God for google. When I was released from prison I wanted to get my book published but I didn’t have a clue about how to begin that journey. So I googled how to publish a book and got my answers. And no it wasn’t a easy task but it wasn’t a hard one either. I knew traditional publishing could take years so I decided to self publish and started my own publishing company So inspired Publishing and I self published my own book through Amazon. Did I make a lot of mistakes ? Of course it was my first time. But the end result was pure joy holding a book that I had written and published myself. I had overcome an obstacle that most People would have given up on. But I always saw myself as an author and believed I would be one eventually and now I was one. That feeling of accomplishment made me confident within myself. No matter what your past looks like you can change your way of thinking from negative thoughts to positive ones. You just have to focus on what you really want in life and believe that it will happen no matter what you're going through. I wanted to change the image that people saw and thought about me (convicted felon) and display a more positive image of myself. That’s when I wrote my second book Provoked in less than ninety days. And upon release it became a Bestseller in as little as a week. Talking about accomplishments. I felt liberated from who I use to be and who I had become. Respects hits different when you believe in yourself! I started getting booked for speaking gigs and hosting events something that was unheard of for a person I use to be. I was now known as the Bestselling author and entrepreneur and not the person I use to be. Life is amazing if you let it be and believe in yourself. I recently opened a online store Thank Me Later Boutique. Now I can honestly say writing a book is a lot easier. (Rolls eyes) but I’m loving the transition and I’m hanging in there for the long haul. God has been good to me and I’m grateful. I thank God everyday for second chances. I want to encourage everyone to stay optimistic and follow their dreams. Tomorrow can look very different with positive thoughts and desires. I’m rooting for you !! You can do anything ! Let’s stay in touch , much love Latashia Instagram: @latashia_holmes @thankmelater_boutique Email: thankmelater2020@aol.com | soinspiredpublishingco@mail.com Describe what makes you a Creative CEO:
I am a Creative CEO because I own who I am, outside and inside. As a CEO, no matter what, people will criticize you. Eleanor Roosevelt said it beautifully, "Do what you feel in your heart will be right - for you'll be criticized anyway." However, this has never stopped me. In our media driven society, it is so easy to be pulled in one direction by what's popular or what is the trend, however, what makes me a Creative CEO is that I go against the current. I'm not only business-mined, but as a physician, I bring so many more diverse ideas to the table. I listen to that voice inside, and love myself more because of my individuality. It's that individuality and God's strength that helps me be creative. My projects are aligned to support complete growth. My dreams and goals have no endpoint. There is no end to my desire to impact and change lives. In addition, I have found a way to incorporate my family into what I do, which allows me more time with my husband and triplets. What major business lesson did you learn in 2020? 2020 has taught me to be more adaptable. No matter what situation I am in, I should always be ready for change and uncontrollable circumstances. Covid-19 and a lot of other events in 2020 threw a curve ball for everyone in the world. I learned how to adapt to the situation. I self-taught myself more technical skills, in addition to doing speaking events and workshops virtually. In reality, what I learned during that time will definitely help me in the long run. I persisted and I was still able to run and grow my businesses, connect, collaborate, and make an impact. Any 2-3 tips you can share with readers to help them win in 2021? 1. First and foremost, be aligned with God's purpose for your life. Always seek God's voice and direction, and you will see His favor and blessings on your life and business. 2. Don't strive for perfection, strive for progression. As entrepreneurs, leaders and CEO's, we want to be the best, but we sometimes cause our own roadblocks. It is okay to make changes during and after a project launch, and learn from your mistakes. Arianna Huffington (Founder & CEO of Thrive Global) puts it well, "We need to accept that we don't always make the right decisions. Understand that failure is not the opposite of success, it's part of success." So don't back down, keep pushing forward! 3. Be deliberate about your personal and professional time. Distinguish between those two areas of life. It's so easy to get distracted by our responsibilities, but it's so important that we take care of ourselves mentally, physically, spiritually and emotionally. We need not lose track of our personal time, but instead enjoy our families and make memories. Time is precious and each moment is priceless; hold on to them and take pride in them. Take time to prioritize so that you never look back and regret how you've invested your time. Share a bit of your vision and plans for this year: I am continuing to work on making my podcast, The Dr. Mom Show, and health & wellness coaching programs more visible in order to make a bigger impact. My goal is to get the appropriate support through those programs to launch a faith-based free medical clinic for underserved individuals. In addition, I am continuing to work on making connections to collaborate with other female entrepreneurs in order to help each other grow. I am currently working on two book collaborations (a prosperity manual and a family devotional), in addition to a mommy manual, and my goal is to have them all published this year. I am also working on expanding my publishing company, ALEA Publishing, LLC. How can readers connect with you online? I believe that although everyone is not meant to be a CEO, there is always opportunity to create multiple streams of income based on things we know how to do on a daily basis. My perspective is always to turn something into a way to make money. Describe what makes you a Creative CEO:
What makes me a creative CEO is my approach to business and life. I believe in taking a holistic approach and doing what feels good. I come up with ideas quickly and enjoy creating content on holistic health and personal development. I stopped waiting until the perfect time when my son was napping to create content and instead started to include him more in my videos. To me being a creative CEO is all about doing what you love, doing what feels good and taking the inspirational ideas that God gives us and executing on them. This is what I strive to do. Describe what makes you a Creative CEO:
What makes me a Creative CEO is that I am a Mompreneur. Also, I empower women to show self love by promoting my CBD self care beauty products. CBD provides a boost to your self care, by helping women relax, and helping with your aches and pain to ease better. I am a very creative lady boss who gives women hope with my products. Once you smell good, you feel good about yourself, and have a more productive day. My business helps women to gain peace with the different scents. I have lavender, strawberry, and chocolate. Using the hemp oil ingredients is for all types of skin, and by using my products, the skin glows, smells good, and it also moisturizes your body, helping your ph balance as well. ![]() Please introduce yourself to our readers.

What does "Power" mean to you?
When I think of power or powerful people, I think of confidence. To walk in your power is to be sure of yourself & your abilities. It’s the feeling of I know what I’m doing, nobody can do what I do & how I do it and that’s what separates me, my brand and my business. Introduce yourself:

I was inspired to become a CEO at the age of 12 years old. My mother worked several jobs that took away all of her time. Even as a young child, I knew my mother constantly worried about being able to make ends meet. My mother’s struggles as a provider motivated me to produce a different future for myself. I was determined to generate income that did not require all my time. Please introduce yourself to our readers.

I am LaKisha Mosley, event producer and digital event strategist for The LM Experience, a full-service digital event planning agency. I am a full-time serial entrepreneur and mom. I think my purpose journey has been really discovering what I am supposed to be doing and helping others in their journey. Please share a few of your 2020 business accomplishments: This year I was able to "retire" from my grocery retail management position to become a full-time entrepreneur. I was able to pivot my business from an in-person event management company to a full-service event planning and management digital agency. I have done close to 25 virtual events this year. What has been your biggest lesson this year? My biggest lesson this year has been to take it one day at a time. I've taken better care of myself by intentionally scheduling self-care days. I've tried not to plan too far in advance but to be diligent about what I need to be doing in my personal and business life. What is next for you? I am looking forward to more success and growth in 2021 and beyond. I want to grow my planning agency by helping corporations, as well as small businesses and entrepreneurs, create virtual experiences for their brands. Growing up in foster care I never thought I would live to see adulthood. I've endured a lot of hardship but I promised myself that if I made it through, I would work hard to break the cycle, break generational curses, and not be a statistic. I'm determined to be an example for my kids. What has been your most exciting accomplishment to date? Seeing my dream become a reality in product form is a great feeling but being able to inspire others has been my most exciting accomplishment to date. Any 2 pieces of advice you would share with emerging CEOs? When faced with challenges you can see them as an opportunity or stumbling block, the choice is up to you. There is more than one path to success, it's ok to change directions as long as you reach your destination. What is next for you in 2021? My goal is to continue to create and inspire others. I would like to do at least 2 collaborations per year. How can readers connect with you online?
