What inspired your pursuits?
Tanya is inspired most by the women business owners she meets every day. She is inspired to help them grow and create something great. Tanya wants to change lives!
Shari is inspired by staying on the cutting edge of an industry and helping people get engaged that’s what makes her excited about being an entrepreneur and partnering with other business leaders and influencers.
What advice would you share with those that are interested in being successful in your industry?
Tanya - Being a successful entrepreneur you must be willing to take risk. You must believe in yourself when no one else does. Lastly build a team, surround yourself with people who compliment your strengths and thrive where you are weak.
Shari - Being a successful entrepreneur you must work on your craft every day. You must go the extra miles by networking beyond your business cards and social media networks. Lastly, you are only as great as your circle of supporters and partners, make sure you place yourself in unchartered territory so that you can learn new things, be kind to everyone and map out your 5-year plan this will help you stay organized and meet your deadlines and goals.
Describe a moment of triumph during your professional journey:
Tanya - A moment of triumph for me in my journey was earning my MBA in Executive Leadership. I went back to school at 48 and my goal was to get my degree by my 50th birthday and I did. I am a writer and I never saw myself as an entrepreneur, but I wanted an advanced degree. It has been the best thing I've ever done! I use my degree every day in my career.
Shari - A moment of triumph for me in my journey was earning my FAA UAS drone license. I wanted to learn something new and scale my business offerings and at age 51 I went back to school and now I’m teaching others how to fly drones and droning real estate, construction sites and helping other drone companies and professionals showcase their products and services.
