My name is TaMisha Tene', Ceo and founder of FABuulous CHIKKS LLC, private label wholesale T shirt brand and What CHIKKS Wear online accessory boutique whose target market is women who love bling statement jewelry. I am also a certified jewelry stylist and accessory consultant with 15+ years retail & wholesale buying experience.

What inspired you to pursue this area of interest?
My duration in the wholesale industry inspired me to create my online boutique. I am highly qualified in trend forecasting for boutique buyers and store owners since I studied accessory patterns and my background in buying certified me and helped me grow an extensive clientele and build relationships with vendors and top manufacturers in the jewelry industry.

What advice would you share with those interested in a similar pursuit?
My advice for any fashionpreneurs in the industry wanting to grow in their career would be to 1, learn as you earn, 2, build relationships with top professionals and network, network and network.

Discuss a professional challenge and how you overcame it:
Challenges as you grow in your career will definitely come. One way I faced adversity was to listen to what the need was from my clients and use that as a tool to create my other business CHIKK University, which is an accessory and trend forecast platform where fashionpreneurs, buyers and boutique owners can learn buying basics and gain valuable trend forecasting knowledge to grow and brand their businesses. Retail Consulting services are also offered.

What is next for your brand/business in 2017?
Next up in 2017 for FABuulous CHIKKS would be to expand into the tradeshow markets to reach more wholesale buyers. What CHIKKS Wear I would love to have more pop up shop events to interact with local customers and last but not least I would like to offer, online courses, workshops and seminars for wholesale professionals through CHIKK University.
