Please introduce yourself to readers: My name is Bridget Phifer. I am a wife and mother of two. I am a licensed REALTOR, business consultant, empowerment coach, motivational speaker, and a licensed minister. I have been in Real Estate for over 20 years, a business owner and consultant for more than 23 years, and a preacher of the Bible for more than 25 years. From the age of 6 years old, I knew I wanted to minister across the world. For a while, I pastored and preached from a pulpit. I loved all the lives I was able to touch. However, back in 2008, when the Real Estate market crashed here in the United States, it affected me in a way I didn't see coming. My family and I went from a 7,000 square foot home to no home at all and living in a shelter. We had to shut our church down, and I had to figure out who I was all over again. During this time, I realized that ministry was more than church walls. It could take place anywhere and in multiple different ways. I discovered that ministry could be used in any business; therefore, EVERY BUSINESS I've owned became my ministry. I made myself available to help people using whatever talent I had inside. I found that the more people you help get what they want, eventually you get what you want. I am now the CEO of www.livingbetterlife.org. I am dedicated to furthering the issues of economic stability for minorities and women everywhere. I am not a stranger to struggle however victory and strength have been my companions. Over the years, I have helped many individuals find the right solution for their lives in personal empowerment, financial stability, and spiritual growth. What makes you a visionary?
My biggest hope and desire has always been to see women's lives transformed and see their communities changed as well. I grew up in Buffalo, NY; I lived in Tulsa, OK, and I now reside in Charlotte, NC. There was an interesting disparity between "the haves" and "the have nots" in all three states. Unfortunately, the barrier has too often been a massive divide in race and gender equality. As a result, years ago, I adapted the mission to create economic empowerment by helping women grow in personal development and financial literacy. I believe that each woman has a Queen within. My goal has been to help each woman understand their worth, the power that lies within them, and teach them how to build wealth with their valuable resources. I help women understand that their experiences help shape them and guide them through the injustices and challenges they have faced. I help women move past their challenges and help them dig up their resources to rise above their circumstances and be the Queen they genuinely are. They become better versions of themselves, and in turn, they create better lives for themselves and those around them. The vision goes beyond the individual. The vision is to create dynamic economic empowerment in a community by influencing and transforming one life that will transform a people. How are your efforts helping to propel women forward? As a CEO and founder of Living Better Life, an organization designed to Inspire, Empower and Motivate women to believe in themselves, recognize the power they possess, and live the life they desire. We reach out to women everywhere, no matter their experiences, to empower them with the skills and confidence they need. Whether it is to get a job, build a business, understand financial literacy, maintain a healthy lifestyle, or gain a home for themselves and their children. We believe in encouraging women to participate fully in their economic recovery. These women are empowered to impact and build healthier communities around them. Although we are potent consumers, caregivers, and most societies' backbone, we continue to find ourselves in disadvantaged situations. We have been abused and sometimes left in places With no resources and feelings of worthlessness. Empowering women is necessary to help them utilize their gifts and their voice to close the gender gap, build wealth and begin living a better life. Currently, Living Better Life s a virtual community where women who need information and support to navigate life-changing situations can find help such as job readiness, housing information, business support, financial counseling, and access to community resources. What is next for you in 2021? I am so excited about 2021. It is a new year that allows us to reach new levels and new goals. The following is a list of the top 3 three projects I am excited about:
