Meet: Angel Riley!

Happy Black Business Month! Please introduce yourself and business:
I am the founder and CEO of Destined for Greatness, a multi-faceted life coaching program that champions clients to value themselves and to acknowledge that they are too the heartbeat of their destiny. Most know me as Coach Angel Riley, the mindset and success coach. Through group coaching programs, workshops, and digital courses, I customize a development plan that help professional women turn a “side hustle” into a six-figure business in 12 months (or less).

What makes you unique in your industry?
I am unique because I am a mindset and success coach versus a business coach. I help clients to strategically evaluate their life goals and determine if entrepreneurship is the right solution. In some instances, the best solution for a client is to restructure her corporate career. The ultimate goal is to ensure each client specifically defines success for herself. Then we develop a custom plan that aligns with the four pulses of life: faith, love, finance, and career.

Please share your top 3 most proud accomplishments to-date:
My clients’ successes allow me to accomplish more than I can ever imagine. My top three most proud accomplishments to-date are:

1. Being featured and seen in major media outlets including CBS, Fox, NBC, International Business Times, Shout Out Atlanta, Brown CEO magazine, and Creating Your Seat At The Table magazine.
2. Recognized as one of the Top 21 Fierce and Fabulous Women in Business by Jesus Coffee and Prayer Publishing. I was also honored as a recipient of the 2021 Brainz CREA Global Award along with the notable Oprah Winfrey.
3. Becoming an Amazon International Bestselling Author for the book Leading with Uncommon Courage

Any advice to other women in your industry?
My advice is to never stop evolving. Learn and grow from your good and bad business experiences. Actively listen to your clients to ensure you always serve them. Do it scared! Your success ideas are the ones you are most afraid to implement.
