What inspired you to go into this industry?
Jessica Reese: I’ve always know that the beauty industry was where my heart and passion laid, however after graduating from college I joined corporate America. My desire to be an example of “following your dreams” to my newborn son 15 years ago was the inspiration I needed to push me to follow my passion.
What thoughtful/encouraging piece of advice would you give to your younger self?
Jessica Reese: Throughout my life I have always put a lot of pressure on myself to excel and to do it within a certain timeframe. It seemed as though I was always rushing to complete a project/task and looking back I would advise my younger self to slow down and enjoy the process. Take moments to look around and appreciate all the steps on the road to success.
