1. Who is Sha'non Thomas and what makes HNM Glam Spot unique in the world of beauty?  Shanon Thomas is a entrepreneur riding her wave in the beauty industry. As the owner of HNM Glam Spot she brings a personal one on one experience with hairstyling, nail designing, makeup applications, lash extensions and customization of wigs embodying each clients vision of what they want there appearance to be. All for a great price, in a beautiful environment and excellent location. 

How does it feel to now be a beautypreneur, wifepreneur and mompreneur-to-be?! It’s exciting! I feel so powerful, challenged and blessed all at the same time. I’m learning things about myself that I didn’t know I could do; tapping into that black girl magic and learning how to use my talents more. 

If you could give women entrepreneurs one piece of advice before becoming a wife & mom, what would that be? I would tell them to take risks. Do everything that scares you and that you wouldn’t want to do because you had people depending on you. If mistakes are going to be made it’s best to make them when it’s just you to worry about as opposed to a family. Mistakes teach lessons and lessons create success. 

What is next for your business this year? I’m preparing my self for a new salon, classes and magazine that gives talented hair stylist, makeup artist , lash techs, and nail techs an opportunity to learn, market, advertise and grow their businesses. 

Where do you see your life in 10 years?  In 10 years I plan on being retired with my husband living on a Caribbean Island every winter and LA or Miami in the summer; Franchising HNM Glam Spot throughout the US, and  raising my daughter to become whatever her heart desires.
