Gail Jackson is the Owner of Glam Up LLC an online clothing boutique and accessories. She was inspired to go into fashion because she always felt good about myself when dressed up. "Even if I am having a bad day when I dress like a Diva, I feel awesome, so I want other women especially those with self esteem issues to also feel like a Diva and be confident within themselves." says Gail. When asked what advice she would share with readers interested in a similar pursuit she added "I would like to share with the readers to do your homework and diligently use all the social media engines to promote your business. I also suggest you find a mentor or business coach to help direct you and inspire you to do more in your business. My biggest challenge has been believing that I could do this because of my age. It is quite scary to start a business at the age of 60. Once I began to seek help, pray and plan I received the confidence I needed to move forward. I still have my moments but then I remember the scripture, I can do all things in Christ who strengthens me. The next step for 2016 is to continue to learn all I can about the industry, connect with other entrepreneurs, do my due diligence, pray and be ready to launch in 2017 with a bang!". We are Tasha Walker and Danielle Cross, Owners of Ballyhoo PR! We were inspired to pursue this area from this current digital age of communication. We realized that everyone is not truly versed regarding social media and branding . It was the perfect opportunity to help business owners. We like to think that we are dream makers as we make the dreams of others come true. The advice we can share is before you pursue your dreams follow three rules:
• Be careful who you share you aspirations and dreams with because they will more than likely tell you it's impossible
• Patience is by far the most important characteristic one should have when starting a new venture. The idea that success is overnight is one we have unknowingly adopted as society and it's inaccurate
• Surround yourself with positive people. Positive vibes lead to positive results ... the foundation to the law of attraction.
We are hoping to close out the 2016 year by gaining a few additional clients, increase brand awareness of our business and increase brand awareness for our clients brand. Discuss a professional challenge and how you overcame it:
My biggest challenge was fear. I had to pray and act on God's promise for my life. He doesn't put a dream inside of you to die. I had to step out on faith.
What is next for your brand/business in 2016?
We are working on acquiring new clients that are looking for extraordinary experiences around the world.

Please introduce yourself and business to our readers:
What inspired your pursuits in this industry?
My inspiration comes from my personal life experiences of low self-esteem which led to toxic relationships, depression, and even attempted suicide as a teen. Being a licensed therapist in Georgia, I wanted to reach more than my everyday local clients. I created my platform to empower the youth, college students, and women to build resilience, make healthy choices and reach their full potential.
What advice would you share with readers interested in pursuing a similar profession?
I am new to entrepreneurship, so I am still taking advice myself! I will say, something I have learned during my journey is to be your authentic yourself. Many times we see successful people and try to “copy” them; but their style, their story, their walk is not yours. When you are true to yourself and your clients, they will not only relate to but trust you and your brand.
What has been your biggest professional challenge, and how did you conquer it?
My biggest professional challenge was the fear of my story being public. I was afraid of being judged or labeled; but I had to realize that God gave me my journey and my career for a reason.
What is next for you in 2016?
I plan to officially launch my organization, The Art of Confidence, LLC, November 2016; which will offer self-confidence and empowerment coaching to youths, college students, and women. My plan is to begin a multi-city college tour to empower college students in the areas of managing stress, setting goals, and healthy relationships.
