What inspired you to become a CEO?
I always wanted to become a CEO even as a child I would play like I owned a Bank ( which is a lifetime goal of mine). I also remember being in middle school here in Philadelphia telling people that I had a clothing line named Renata Wear lol! At that time I had NO idea how to own and operate a business and as zealous as I was it would take me more than a decade to come into my own! I’m now the PROUD owner of Possible Cosmetics , the 1st black owned cosmetic line to launch in the 2nd largest mall in America, partner with Retail giant Walmart and become a published author!

My purpose is to help women create multiple streams of income from what they know What makes you a visionary? I am clear and uncompromising. I am clear on my purpose and do not let anything shift me from it. I say that now proudly but there was a time in my life and my career when I lived by what everyone else told me I should be or do. I had a epiphany moment that changed the trajectory of my life and it was from that that I got clear and became uncompromising. Share the 3 key steps that helped you bring your vision to life: 1. I got clear on how to stand in my brilliance and build a business from it 2. I built a blueprint as the foundation for all I do in my business 3. Throughout my childhood I felt that my experiences silenced me in many aspects. I didn’t really jump to the occasion to become a speaker and it initially frightened me to be vulnerable and share my story. Every single moment I have is a moment to invest, empower, encourage, uplift, and inspire someone. In being vulnerable and speaking up, I’m imparting some of the most precious gifts I can give which are value and significance. To order visit: www.DRKETRA.com Based on a true story, this gripping account of hip hop's early years follows Sherri Sher, who, growing up in the South Bronx during the 1970's and caring for her eleven siblings, forms an all-girl rap group and discovers that it is hard to earn respect in a male-dominated world.
Sher's life is the inspiration for this story of hip-hop and life in Bronx in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Strong-willed Shelly grows up in the Bronx with her multitude of siblings and hard-working single mom at a time when hip-hop is a street-corner phenomenon. Shelly gathers some friends to organize an all-female crew—a rarity in the male-dominated scene—and they hit the streets as the Mercedes Young Ladies. As the Ladies earn respect on the streets, urban life takes its toll: the girls are faced with drugs, violence and poverty. But Shelly and the girls persevere and find themselves running with the big boys. There isn't a fairy tale ending, and Sher takes pains to give a real sense of the burgeoning hip-hop scene, where the game is fast-paced and often unfair.
