Ayesha Ogle is the founder of the nonprofit organization, Busisa, which means Blessings. Its mission is to educate, inspire, and empower the children in Malawi Africa, know as “the Warm Heart of Africa.” Ayesha is originally from South Africa and came with her family to America in search of a new life. Concerned for the welfare of those in need, she chose to help the homeless in her local community and the children of Malawi, who live in one of the poorest countries in Africa. Internationally, Busisa feeds over 150 orphaned and impoverished children a nutritious meal once a week, provides a reading center where children can access books to learn to read English, and provides clothing for the cold winters in Africa. Ayesha’s goals for Busisa are to feed more children (so no child goes hungry), to feed them meals three times a day, and to provide educational opportunities for the children. Nationally, Busisa has a monthly food drive where Ayesha and her family prepare and feed homeless people on the streets of downtown Los Angeles nutritious meals.
Ayesha and her family have been paying for everything out of their pockets for almost ten years and need help feeding the children. Busisa needs donations, support, sponsors, and marketing/public relation exposure. Together we can make a difference in the lives of those who cannot help themselves!
