Please introduce yourself to our readers:
Hello readers! I’m Racquel Rogers the founder and CEO of Latte Resume Consulting(LRC). I work with clients that are serious about reaching their ultimate career goal. I have always been passionate about helping others which is why I created LRC, a full career preparation service. What makes my company unique is that it focuses on helping people to acquire mid/senior-level positions and salaries above the national average. In addition to this, I help new entrepreneurs with their business startup, partner with corporate companies for their talent acquisition needs, and travel facilitating workshops on the resume and interviewing processes. I was born and raised in Montgomery, Alabama. I am a graduate of Auburn University with a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish and a graduate of Liberty University with a Master’s degree in Human Services with a minor in Business. Currently, I am pursuing my Ph.D. studies. I am one of the 9 co-authors for The Mental Cost of Entrepreneurship book which was released in July 2019. This year I am so excited to be releasing my new book that will help people to better understand the resume writing process by way of confirming self-worth. I have been featured on iHeart Media’s “Girls You Got this and Guys You Do Too”, “EnSoul Media”, “Empowerher It’s A Movement”, SwagHer Magazine, Motivated to Elevate, named as “Power20” in Glambitious Magazine , Brunch CLT, 3 Women Voices, speaker at The International World Voice Summit, Creative Broadcasting, and much more. What makes you a visionary? When it comes to going after an ultimate career goal, putting people in 6 figures careers, or helping people to acquire mid/senior level positions with salaries above the national average, my company does just that. This makes me a visionary because I’m able to believe in the future of others and myself. I am passionate about encouraging others to be their best selves no matter the challenges. I am able to forecast the future risks when it comes to many careers. My goal is for all my clients to win! I take being a career visionary as an honor. Share the 3 key steps that helped you bring your vision to life: The first thing that helped me to bring my vision to life was my relationship with God. When I sought God about the next steps in regards to my life I was able to see the vision clearly and follow through to purpose. The second thing is I surrounded myself around people that I admired and who understood my vision. Being among people like this encouraged me to keep going, help me to better implement my business uniqueness, and grow in all areas of my life. Thirdly, I seriously had to think about my target clients such as their pain points, how they think, and how to best communicate the solutions my company can serve them. This in turn led to me to invest in my business and myself. What is next for you in 2020? Because I truly love the career preparation processes, I will continue to perfect my skills, connect with more organizations by facilitating workshops on the resume and interviewing processes, put more people in 6 figure careers, and much more so stay tuned!
