What inspired you to become a CEO?
I was inspired to become a CEO due to being a single mom. I feel the universe pushed me to pursue my dream. Through being a mom I wanted to travel, spend as much time with my son , River Mason Eromosele, as possible, and make a good living for us. Becoming a CEO provides that platform of balance for me. Working for yourself it has its trials and tribulations. However, being able to spend an abundant amount of time and travel with my son is motivation and itself to own my own business. I never wanted to be that mother that had to miss school plays, PTA meetings, and play days due to having a busy work schedule. Becoming a CEO permits me the opportunity to create a schedule around my son. This way I am a mother before anything. Being a mother is so important to me. It’s vital to be inclusive of how my journey to motherhood has been. Motherhood has been everything for me the past nine years. As a teenager mother it really taught me a hustle and a work ethic that’s unmatched. Bringing my son along my journey and the entertainment industry has not only propelled my career but it started his career in modeling and acting. Now at the age of nine my son is a successful and talented kid actor. So, I’m grateful . I'm also proud of choice to become a CEO. My son comes with me to my office, we do homework together, we have dinner together, we consult with one another , and we go over business strategies. We have an unbreakable and transparent bond. I promise you my son is like my VP. If you could share business advice with yourself 10 years ago, what would you say? If I could share business advice to myself 10 years ago I would say do it sooner. Don’t be afraid to go after what you want to do it now. I jumped into the game of entrepreneurship early on in my career. So, I will just tell myself to go harder and believe in myself a little bit more. As cliche as it is I would also tell myself that it will all pay off in my will soon be ripping the rewards of every ounce of hard work that I put into my career. With this being the month of love, how do you feel self-love affects our entrepreneur journey? Honestly, my love life is nonexistent. However I don’t apply much effort into an earth thing a significant other. I’ve been single for a while and I’m completely content with that. I feel as though when I get to a level of my career when I’m satisfied overall then I’ll be more content with settling down. My dating life hasn’t had much affect over the past 10 years I was in an on and off relationship and once I called it quits with that it just became Jurassic. What are you looking forward to most in 2020? I’m looking forward to 2020 being the year of the harvest. I say that because I truly believe in numerology and 2020 is the year of ripping all intent that you have put out in the world. It’s the year of ripping all the seas you have planted and now it’s time for the harvest. So, for 2020 I’m excited about all of the abundance that I am receiving. I’m excited about the manifestation that I have been working my butt off the past 10 years for. I’m excited about the new chapters I’m opening in my life story. So in 2020 I am looking forward to the year of the hardest. How can readers support your efforts and connect with you online? All of the readers can follow me online at @PilarScratch or @rivermason_
