What inspired you to pursue this area of interest? My greatest aspiration has been to be a wife and a mother. But like so many women, I had to ask myself: Why was my dream of being a wife so hard to attain and sustain? I had a career, but it wasn’t fulfilling. So, I sought the answer from someone wiser than myself …..I got on my knees and prayed:
What is some advice you would give to new wives? To new wives, I would tell them never to forget that marriage is a ministry. Ministry or ministering simply means attending to the needs of someone. To be of service. In marriage, it is your spouse's need that you are focused on. It is not good for man to be alone. God knew that man would have some needs and he would need someone to attend to those needs in the physical human sense. When we get married, we make the vows/promises to exclusively meet the needs of our spouse. Many marriages fail because they don’t meet the needs or stop meeting the needs of their spouse. Do you want to affair proof your marriage?......First, focus on meeting the needs of you husband. Marriage is a ministry!! Always remember, your role as a wife is to minister to his needs. His role a husband is to meet your needs. What advice would you share with a reader interested in the same work? Become an expert in your field. An expert is someone who has spent 10,000 hours or 10 years learning their craft. Never give up and don't get distracted by the nay sayers. Focus on serving others and helping them get to the next level. Be passionate and full of energy. Hire a coach. The best coaches have a coach, because they know they need to always be growing and learning to better serve their clients. What is next for you in 2020? I am thrilled to be a part of a two book anthology, "Purpose Pushers" being released in January and "Inspired by Love” being released in February 2020. I am super excited about ending 2019 strong and starting 2020 with a bang! How can readers connect with you online?
