Introduce yourself and profession to our readers. My name is Jacqueline Boyd. I’m a wife to an amazing husband, Pastor Dujuan Boyd. A mother of 3 wonderful children, a grandmother of 2 healthy grandbabies & First Lady of Healing Waters Worship and Deliverance Center. We have been Pastors at Healing Waters Worship Center for 5 years. I’m a Co-Owner of Pearls Production. My passion is to teach and help others get the proper healing in their life. ,What inspired you to pursue this area of interest? At an early age, I witnessed my dad and my brothers fighting and verbal and physical abuse took place. My mother was in a relationship that wasn’t positive and when I tried to protect her, I was always pushed away. I was molested by family members and no one believed my words; I was at the brink, however, I vowed to be to delivered and healed. I suffered at the hands of family members and a guy that I was dating had become very abusive - almost to the point of death! If I stayed in the relationship, he would have killed me, but “God." God allowed me to go through this to show me that he had me in his arms, that he Loved me, that he had a plan for my life, and that he would bring me home safely.
To have a person such as my husband in my life is the best thing ever. The unconditional love that we have, inspires me to help others understand that love is real and sometimes you just have to wait for it to come to you. Regardless of what you have been through, there is a bigger meaning for your life. There are support groups, teams, certain people, and knowing what you are worth. I never want anyone to think that they can’t get out of a domestic violence relationship. You can! What advice would you share with those interested in a similar pursuit? Have a heart for people, know your calling and use the gifts you’ve been given. Pray daily to get a clear understanding, listen and take notes the first time around and watch for all the signs to call it out. Just be open and honest with yourself before starting down this path. Discuss a professional challenge and how you overcame it: When taking steps in a ministry, you learn how to plant seeds and water them. Many challenges come to you and your family while co-pastoring a church from the ground. One main challenge I would speak about is how people will take you for granted just as they do with dental floss. In one case, a lady needed help and no one would help her. The holy spirit lead me to help her in several ways such as taking her to the store and blessing her. Encouraging her that life will continue going on, but you have to get out the way and allow God to move in your life. To support her as a spiritual sister. The outcome of this today, is that she is alive, healthy, working a full time job, and working on her Masters degree. To surrender your all and go school and graduate and use the tools that God has given us and still be humble to help others in the time of need is awesome in my book. Never judge a book by its cover when you haven’t opened it up. As I always say, be thankful for the process and healing. Never fear the path that God has for you. He is directing me on a path that I love and want more of. Sometimes you have to live your life with some ups and downs. At the end of day, the flower is growing strong. What is next for your brand/business in 2018? To continue to tour with Pearls Productions and helping the nation to heal through Pearls Productions. Sunshine Healers aims to bring basic principles of understanding of life, into a place where all aspects materialize on all levels of our being. With that being said, my first book will be coming soon as well. How can readers connect with you online and through social media?
