 Please introduce yourself: My name is Ashley Witcher, and I am the owner of The Write Legacy LLC, a boutique publishing company that is committed to producing literary works that promote personal transformation, inspires change and empowers others. We also have a love for books that educate through children's and business literature. We cater to the faith based (Christian) writer who desires to leave an inheritance for their children’s children through written works (Proverbs 13:22). As a Legacy Author, you can expect your book project to be taken from concept to full publication as we offer one-on-one writer coaching and project management for those who are into collaborations. We also partner with indie authors who choose to self-publish. From editing to graphics, we take care of it all!
You can write your own legacy! Don't leave it up to anyone else to tell your story, you control the pen. What makes you a visionary? What makes me a visionary is my capacity to see the end at the beginning. I have been blessed to be extremely resourceful and with the ability to spark greatness is others. As a visionary, my ideas, dreams, and visions always include others and ways to improve or serve them for the better. Share three key steps that helped you bring your vision to life. Three key steps that helped to bring forth my vision are: prayer, wise counsel, and preparation. Prayer, because I strongly believe that without God, “vision,” is just a dream based on your own desires. So, praying with intentionality and a desire to hear and obey was step one. Seeking wise counsel was step two. I believe in surrounding myself with wisdom. I don’t know everything, and I see value in consulting those who have been around longer than me and have achieved success in life. Research and educating myself in my chosen field would be number three. You must invest in yourself to prepare for your vision so that when it begins to come into fruition, you are ready to step right into place. What is next for you in 2021? Coming up for me in 2021, I will be launching some new ventures that center around writers as it pertains to self-care. As a published author and independent publisher, I will be participating in some virtual book tours as well as hosting a few myself. I also have some collaborations with other women owned brands that will be announced soon. The goal is to over-deliver value for my clients and be who God calls me!
