Describe what makes you a Creative CEO:
I have been offering freelance writing and public relations services for more than 20 years. What makes me a creative leader is my ability to be nimble, facilitating change at a moment’s notice while maintaining quality and general consensus to move forward—meeting or exceeding recommendations. What major business lesson did you learn in 2020? That my self care is directly tied to the overall health of my business. When my health flourishes, my business does too. There is no substitute for me in the work I do so I must be vigilant with eating well, regular exercise, prayer and mindfulness, along with spending time with family and friends. Any 2-3 tips you can share with readers to help them win in 2021? Your pace is your pace and your journey is your journey. Don’t place more value on others by comparing yourself and being overly self critical. Stay focused on blazing your trail regardless of what others are doing or despite the critics. Share a bit of your vision and plans for this year: This year I aim to continue experimenting with new avenues to connect to new people and new opportunities while increasing my touch points with existing and repeat customers.
