Deborah Smith Simpkins is the Founder of Restored Ministries. Her desire for personal spiritual healing and a deeper understanding of the Word of God lead her to earn her degree at United Bible College in Florida and Eastern Bible Institute in New Jersey. She then went on to acquire her Masters in Religious Education from Lighthouse Bible College in Arkansas.
Growing up a PK (Preacher’s Kid) Deborah Smith Simpkins witnessed the ins and outs of the black church. These experiences led her to write “Ministers with White Collars & Black Secrets: The Truth Exposed”. This book allowed her to give testimony to what she experienced. The topic resonated so well with audiences that the book is now being premiered as a stage play in November of this year.
The book is a funny, passionate, and truth filled novel. The main character Kiyah Simmons moves from test to testimony as she makes her way from a failed marriage to a failed affair. Come feel the beat of this novel as it races through time to teach Kiyah a lesson of life, love and sanctimonious lies. Over 70,000 copies sold to date.
